My Journey To #LoveFashionHipHop

I chose the name #LoveFashionHipHop because those three words pretty much sum up what I represent as a person and as an entertainer. I have reached a very important stage in my life and my career where the two have elevated to a higher level, #NextLevelSh!t. As you might have seen or heard, the #LoveFashionHipHop event that took place on April 22nd at the Victor Hotel was a huge success! Follow me as I take you through My Journey To #LoveFashionHipHop...

#LOVE

Throughout this journey, it was inspired by the love of God. Taking a popular product and adding something positive and powerful. Mrs. Cassandra Pharrow the director of the Jason Cole Foundation came out to the event to speak to the audience about non-violence. Her son (Jason Cole) was murdered in the act of gun violence. The Jason Cole Foundation helps keep students away from gang and gun violence, enroll students in a Christian Academy, and helps their family find a church home. A portion of the proceeds went towards the Jason Cole Foundation. That's my way of showing #LOVE
!

#FASHION

In my opinion, fashion is a way of speaking without words, expressing who you are without explaining, introducing yourself without an introduction. I always say "Wear the clothes, don't let the clothes wear you". I can pretty much tell a lot about a person and what type of mood they're in by the way they wear their clothes, hair, shoes, accessories, etc. So with this event that's exactly what we wanted to do. Each fashion scene was produced and coordinated by my partner Javairo "JV" Wilson of Concrete Rose. We linked up with different designers such as VJG clothing, Royal Ontourage, J Star, Avante Couture, Cadets, Vintage Style Customs, and Rebel Chameleon Jewelry. Each designer has it's own style and different flavors. Each model did a wonderful job of "Wearing the clothing"...

#HipHop
Ever since I was a kid, hip hop
has always been a huge part of me. Music is my first love and always will be. Music is very powerful, it can influence someone in a positive or negative way. With knowing that, my goal is to create an unstoppable positive force powered by hip hop. Hip Hop isn't just a genre of music, it's a lifestyle in which I was raised. I choose to make hip hop the main ingredient of this event/movement, because that's the best way to reach out to the people, thru music. They will have no other choice but to watch, listen, and learn. Me and my partner Warren linked up with artists such as Sinatris, KM Tha Original, PT Locgang, Tha Pope, Derty Harry, Dutch Boyz, E-Money, B-Easy, KiD aka Yung Lion, and Bruza The General. Each artist rocked the stage and blessed the crowd with their music. I hope yall paying attention...#LoveFashionHipHop #NextLevelSh!t
